PRAYERS TO OVERCOME EVIL BACKGROUND

                                            MY BACKGROUND CANNOT STOP ME

                                   Psalm 11:3, Jeremiah 16:19, Matthew 27:21-25 ,Job 8:7

Leviticus 26:39 says; “And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies lands: and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.”            

Psalm 11:3 says if the foundation be destroyed what can the righteous do? 

There are many battles to be fought in this world. And soon as we are born to this world, the battle has begun. In job chapter 14, the bible tells us that the life of a man is few but filled with troubles. Your background contributes also to the kind of challenges that you may encounter.  

When you talk about background, you are talking about:

– your hereditary

– your lineage

– your family tree; it has a capacity to stop your destiny.

In life, there are three categories of people.

– people with good background

– people with bad background

– people with ugly, rough and terrible background; unfortunately, this is where the majority falls.

FACTS TO NOTE 

1. Where you are born is not a choice, but where you are going is your choice. You are not given permission to choose your father and mother.

2. That you are born in that family with rough background, God has a prophetic agenda upon your life. And the prophetic agenda is to re-write your family history.

3. How you are born is beyond your control.

4. Anytime God wants to announce and display His power, He looks for those with terrible and rough background

5. Your background is not a barrier to your destiny fulfilment if you can pray. You can be born in a manger and become a manager.

6. Your background should not keep your back on the ground forever. You must rise above your background.

7. Your background cannot stop God and if it cannot stop God, it cannot stop you.

BIBLICAL EXAMPLES OF THOSE WHO THEIR BACKGROUND COULD NOT STOP THEM

1. Abraham -Joshua 24:2&3

2. Gideon -Judges 6:12&15

3. Jesus Christ -John 1:46

SIGNS OF EVIL BACKGROUND

 1. Untimely Death

2. Profitless hard-work

 3. Aimlessness – Not living a purposeful life 

4. Sickness that defile medical diagnosis 

5. Unexplainable marital distress/bad marriage 

6. General backwardness 

7. Inability to receive the power of Holy Ghost 

8. Difficulty in making spiritual progress (fasting, praying, reading the bible) 

9. Constant failure at the edge of breakthrough 

10. Collective family captivity 

11. Being hated for no reason 

12. Difficulty in sustaining God’s blessings 

WHAT TO DO IF YOU DON’T WANT YOUR BACKGROUND TO STOP YOU

1. Surrender your life Jesus.

2. Repent from every sin.

3. Get in contact with the presence of God.

4. Ask for the grace always. (Not the grace to be committing Sin and be saying God understands that we are humans BUT the grace that will change your destiny)

5. Humble yourself in the presence of God.

6. Obey all His (God’s) instructions.

7. Aggressively pray for a change.

 B. Confess every of your known and unknown sins and that of your ancestors, ask for mercy and repent of them all.

1. You demon of my father’s house that attached itself to my life, leave me alone

6. I decree what stopped my father & mother in life will not stop me. Where they stopped I will not stop there in Jesus name 

7. Blood of Jesus set me free from every evil foundation 

8. Every evil covenant attached to my foundation that is affecting every areas of my life, break by the blood of Jesus

9.Lord every inherited bondage that has been moving from generation to generation in my family lord I refuse to inherit in the name of Jesus.

10.Every demonic sacrifice made by an ancestral fathers that is working in me oh lord as I pray today I destroy every evil sacrifice in the name of Jesus.

11. Every promise made by my parents on my behalf to any dark power, be broken, in the name of Jesus. 

12. Every family curse, I revoke you, in the name of Jesus. 

13. Every foundational bondage in my life, break, in the name of Jesus. 

14. Every darkness planted in my foundation, scatter, in the name of Jesus. 

15. Every serpent in my foundation, die, in the name of Jesus.

16. Every foundational familiar spirit, I bind you and cast you out, in the name of Jesus. 

17. Every foundational marine power, loose your hold over me, in the name of Jesus. 

18. Holy Ghost fire, burn down all spiritual shrines, covens, idol worshippers of my father’s house, in the name of Jesus. 

19. Every blood speaking against my generational line be silence by the blood of Jesus. 

20. I break all ancestral covenants with any idol power, in the name of Jesus. 

21. Every bitter water flowing in my family from any idol, dry up, in the name of Jesus. 

22. Every landlord spirit troubling my destiny be paralyzed, in the name of Jesus. 

23. I break the evil pattern of darkness that locked me up, in the name of Jesus. 

24. Every curse that came to me through the sins of my ancestors, break by the blood of Jesus. 

25. I release myself from the yoke of my village, in the name of Jesus. 

26. Every generational problem sponsored by my family idol, die in the name of Jesus. 

27. Power promoting captivity in my family line, die, in the name of Jesus. 

28. Pursuing powers of my father’s house, I bury you now, in the name of Jesus. 

29. Satanic oil poured on my head by my family idol, dry up, in the name of Jesus. 

30. Every evil dedication that speaks against my life and marriage, die, in the name of Jesus. 

31. Problems assigned to my life by wicked elders, die by fire, in the name of Jesus. 

32. My star in the house of my family idol, come out, in the name of Jesus. 

33. The evil rope that is tie me to the idol of my father’s house, break, in the name of Jesus. 

34. I release myself from any bondage present in my family line, in the name of Jesus. 

35. I recover all my benefits hidden in a strange land. In the name of Jesus. 

36. The voice of foundational idol will never speak again, in the name of Jesus.

37. Idols of my place of birth, I break your chain, in the name of Jesus. 

38. Let the stones of hindrances constructed by family idols, be rolled away, in the name of Jesus. 

39. Every foundational padlock, break, in the name of Jesus. 

40. Every seed of poverty and late marriage in my foundation, break by fire, in Jesus name. 

41. Problem without solution assigned to swallow me, die by fire, in the name of Jesus. 

42. Every inherited problem attached to my family name and has vowed not to leave me, die, in the name of Jesus. 

43. O Lord, let the pillar of my problem, be crumbled, in Jesus name.
