Introduction
The enemy wants you and your business to be broke, helpless, and dead. But God desires you and your business to be blessed, fruitful, productive, and prosperous.
Business is not only about making money. It involves wisdom, favour, good decisions, profitable relationships, customers, productivity, protection, discipline, integrity, creativity, and the ability to recognize opportunities.
The Bible teaches that God can guide the work of our hands.
Psalm 90:17 says:
“And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us.”
There are times when someone can work hard and still experience unusual setbacks. There are times when opportunities appear but disappear unexpectedly. There are times when money enters a business but seems to leak away without meaningful progress.
This is why we need to commit our businesses into the hands of God.
The prayers in this article cover business success, breakthrough, financial restoration, divine favour, protection, profitable opportunities, wisdom, productivity, debt freedom, recovery, and spiritual warfare.
The Lord Is the Source of Business Success
Your business may have customers, employees, equipment, capital, ideas, and experience, but ultimately your confidence should be in God.
Deuteronomy 8:18 reminds us that it is God who gives power to get wealth.
This does not mean that we should neglect planning, hard work, learning, accountability, or good business practices.
Instead, we bring all these things under God's direction.
Proverbs 16:3 says:
“Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.”
Pray over your business.
Ask God for wisdom.
Ask Him to expose what is wrong.
Ask Him to connect you with the right people.
Ask Him to open profitable doors.
Ask Him to protect your customers, staff, finances, reputation, and investments.
