ACCESSING GOD’S PROMISES THROUGH SPIRITUAL VIOLENCE (FAITH & AUTHORITY IN CHRIST)

TEXTS:

Matthew 11:12 – “The kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.”

2 Corinthians 10:4 – “The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God…”

Hebrews 10:23 – “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering…”

Isaiah 54:17 – “No weapon formed against you shall prosper…”

Mark 11:24 – “Whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it…”

INTRODUCTION

God’s promises are real, powerful, and guaranteed in Christ, but they are not automatically manifested without spiritual engagement.

There is a realm where promises are:

Contested

Delayed

Resisted

Or violently enforced through faith and prayer

Many believers carry promises but live without possession. The difference is spiritual warfare engagement, faith, and alignment.

1. UNDERSTANDING GOD’S PROMISES

God’s promises are:

Anchored in His Word (Numbers 23:19)

Activated by faith (Hebrews 11:6)

Enforced by prayer (James 5:16)

Secured in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20)

Every promise of God has a spiritual opposition until it is enforced.

2. ENEMIES OF MANIFESTATION

What resists God’s promises?

1. Spiritual opposition

Daniel 10:12–13 (prince of Persia resisting answers)

2. Doubt and unbelief

James 1:6–7

3. Sin and disobedience

Isaiah 59:1–2

4. Ignorance of authority

Hosea 4:6

5. Delay in spiritual warfare engagement

Matthew 17:21 (some battles require fasting & prayer)

3. KEYS TO ACCESSING GOD’S PROMISES

A. WORD ENGAGEMENT

Joshua 1:8 – meditate day and night

 You don’t possess what you don’t know.

B. VIOLENT FAITH (SPIRITUAL FORCE)

Matthew 11:12

Refuse spiritual passivity

Declare God’s Word aggressively

Resist contrary situations

C. PRAYER OF AUTHORITY

Luke 10:19 – authority over serpents and scorpions

You are not begging—you are enforcing covenant rights.

D. PERSISTENT INTERCESSION

Luke 18:1 – men ought always to pray and not faint

Breakthrough is often persistence, not speed.

E. HOLINESS & ALIGNMENT

Psalm 24:3–4

Clean hands = clear access.

4. WARFARE DECLARATIONS PRINCIPLE

You don’t wait for manifestation to agree—you speak until manifestation submits.

Job 22:28 – “You shall decree a thing…”

CLOSING WORD

God’s promises are not fragile, they are eternal. But they require believers who will:

Believe aggressively

Pray persistently

Stand spiritually firm

And enforce covenant realities

You are not waiting for God to be ready, God is waiting for a believer who will enforce His Word.

THANKSGIVING & COVERING

Father, I thank You for Your covenant promises that cannot fail, in the name of Jesus.

Blood of Jesus, cover my life and destiny, in the name of Jesus.

Every legal ground of the enemy in my life, be nullified by the blood of Jesus. In the name of Jesus 

SECTION 2:

BREAKING LIMITATIONS

Every power delaying my manifestation of God’s promises, scatter, in the name of Jesus.

Any spiritual opposition standing against my breakthrough, be destroyed, in the name of Jesus.

I break every chain of limitation over my destiny, in the name of Jesus.

My Father, arise and overturn every evil verdict against my life, in the name of Jesus

SECTION 3:

POSSESSION OF PROMISES

I recover every promise of God assigned to my life, in the name of Jesus.

My blessings buried in the spiritual realm, come alive and locate me now, in the name of Jesus

Every delayed testimony in my life, manifest by fire, in the name of Jesus.

I possess my possessions by fire, in the name of Jesus. 

SECTION 4:

SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY

I receive fresh fire to enforce divine promises, in the name of Jesus

I walk in authority over every satanic opposition, in the name of Jesus.

Every power resisting my answered prayers, be arrested, in the Name of Jesus.

SECTION 5:

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS

I decree: I will not die without seeing God’s promises fulfilled.

I declare: My season of manifestation has come.

I declare: What God has spoken concerning me shall come to pass speedily.

I declare, I am walking in total victory, in Jesus Name.
