BREAKING THE SPIRIT OF FEAR

SERMON: “BREAKING THE SPIRIT OF FEAR”

Scripture Focus:

2 Timothy 1:7 — “For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
Isaiah 41:10 — “Fear not, for I am with you…”
Psalm 27:1 — “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?”

1. IDENTIFY THE ENEMY: FEAR IS A SPIRIT

Fear is not just an emotion—it can be a spiritual attack.
Fear:
Paralyzes destiny
Distorts thinking
Blocks faith
Opens doors to anxiety, torment, and doubt

The Bible clearly calls it a spirit, meaning it can be rebuked, cast out, and destroyed.

2. DECLARE YOUR AUTHORITY
You are not a victim, you are empowered.
You carry divine authority
Fear has no legal right over your life
Darkness must bow when you speak truth
Say with boldness:
“I refuse to partner with fear. I align with the Spirit of God!”

3. ENGAGE IN SPIRITUAL WARFARE PRAYERS

Pray aggressively and with authority:
Prayer Points:
“Every spirit of fear tormenting my life, I command you, OUT in the name of Jesus
“Fear planted through trauma, dreams, or words, I uproot you by fire in the name of Jesus.
“I break every cycle of anxiety and panic in my bloodline in the name of Jesus.
“My mind is delivered, my heart is free, my spirit is bold in the name of Jesus

4. BREAK AGREEMENTS WITH FEAR

Sometimes fear stays because it has been entertained or believed.
Renounce it:
“Every agreement I have made with fear knowingly or unknowingly, I break it now in the name of Jesus
Replace it with truth:
Fear says “you will fail” → God says “you are more than a conqueror”
Fear says “you are alone” → God says “I am with you always”

5. RELEASE THE FIRE OF GOD
Declare:
“Holy Ghost fire, burn away every root of fear in my life in the name of Jesus.
Visualize:
Chains breaking
Darkness fleeing
Light filling your mind

FINAL CHARGE
Fear will try to come back—but now you know how to fight.
Speak the Word daily
Reject fearful thoughts immediately
Stay spiritually alert

SEAL YOUR DELIVERANCE

Close with thanksgiving:
“Lord, I thank You because I am free. Fear has no place in me. I walk in victory!
You don’t manage fear, you drive it out.

Prayer Points.
O God, arise and uproot every seed of fear in my life, in the name of Jesus.
Spirit of fear, release your hold upon my life and die, in the name of Jesus
I bind and cast out every spirit of fear and anxiety, in the name of Jesus.
Every inherited fear in my bloodline, be destroyed by fire, in the name of Jesus
Power of fear assigned against my destiny, scatter by fire in the name of Jesus
I reject fear; I receive boldness, in the name of Jesus.
Every satanic arrow of fear fired into my life, backfire in the name of Jesus
Fear of the future, die now, in the name of Jesus.
Fear of failure, be consumed by Holy Ghost fire in the name of Jesus.
I cancel every negative imagination in my life, fueled by fear, in the name of Jesus
Every stronghold of fear in my mind, be pulled down, in the name of Jesus
Spirit of timidity, loose your grip on me now in the name of Jesus.
I decree: I shall not fear, for God is with me in the name of Jesus.
Every door opened to fear in my life, be shut by the blood of Jesus in the name of Jesus.
Fear programmed through dreams in my life, be erased by fire in the name of Jesus.
Every whisper of fear in my heart, be silenced forever in the name of Jesus.
I overcome fear by the power of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus.
Fear of death, vanish from my life, in the name of Jesus
Every demonic presence causing fear in my life, depart now in the name of Jesus.
I command boldness and courage to arise in me, in the name of Jesus.

I break every covenant with fear, in the name of Jesus
Fear, you are a liar, I reject you completely in the name of Jesus.

Every hidden fear troubling my heart, come out and die in the name of Jesus.
I refuse to be intimidated by the enemy in the name of Jesus.
Spirit of fear assigned to weaken me, be paralyzed in the name of Jesus

I declare: The Lord is my light; I shall not fear in the name of Jesus.
Fear of sickness and affliction, disappear now in the name of Jesus.

My heart is filled with peace, not fear in the name of Jesus.
Fear, hear the word of the Lord, depart from me now in the name of Jesus.
I reject every lie of the enemy that produces fear in my life, in the name of Jesus.
The power of fear over my life is broken forever in the name of Jesus.
I dwell in the secret place of the Most High; I am safe in the name of Jesus.
Every fear of delay and stagnation, be destroyed in my life now in the name of Jesus.
I declare total victory over fear, in the mighty name of Jesus.
