INTRODUCTION
Witchcraft and evil spiritual opposition are subjects that many believers take seriously when confronting persistent battles, repeated afflictions, strange limitations, foundational problems and attacks against destiny.
The Bible teaches believers to recognize that spiritual warfare exists and to stand firmly in God.
Ephesians 6:12 says:
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world.”
However, our confidence is not in fear.
Our confidence is in Jesus Christ.
The believer does not need to live in terror of darkness because Christ has already been given all authority.
Colossians 2:15 says that Christ:
“spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.”
Therefore, when you pray against witchcraft and evil spirits, pray from a position of faith in Christ.
Pray against every work of darkness.
Pray against every evil altar.
Pray against every satanic oppression.
Pray against every inherited bondage.
Pray against every attack against your marriage, family, health, business, finances and destiny.
Pray until your faith rises and you become conscious of the power of God over every work of darkness.
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT SPIRITUAL WARFARE
The Bible does not teach believers to fear darkness.
Instead, believers are instructed to stand in the authority of God.
James 4:7 says:
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
Ephesians 6:13 says:
“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day.”
Our weapons are spiritual.
2 Corinthians 10:4 says:
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.”
This means prayer, faith, the Word of God and dependence upon the Holy Spirit are central to spiritual warfare.

God knows how to bring His people out of bondage.
2. Elijah on Mount Carmel
When Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal, God answered by fire.
1 Kings 18:38 says:
“Then the fire of the Lord fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice.”
This demonstrates the supremacy of God over false spiritual powers.
3. David and Goliath
David faced a powerful enemy but did not depend upon human strength.
He declared in 1 Samuel 17:47:
“The battle is the Lord's.”
God gave him victory.
4. The Sons of Sceva
Acts 19 demonstrates that spiritual authority is not something to imitate casually. The power of Christ is connected with genuine relationship with Him.
Therefore, these prayers should be prayed from faith in Jesus Christ, not from fear or superstition.
PREPARING YOUR HEART BEFORE PRAYING

- Put your faith in Jesus Christ.
