INTRODUCTION

There are moments in life when a person reaches a point where human strength seems insufficient.

You may be facing a situation that appears impossible.

You may have tried everything you know to do and still see no solution.

You may be dealing with financial pressure, family problems, sickness, rejection, disappointment, debt, unemployment, business difficulties, delayed answers, broken relationships, legal troubles, spiritual battles or a situation that seems to have no way out.

In such moments, God remains our help.

The Bible does not teach us to deny difficult circumstances. It teaches us to bring them before God.

David cried to God in trouble.

Jehoshaphat faced an enemy he could not defeat by his own strength.

The Israelites stood before the Red Sea with no human route of escape.

Hezekiah faced a threatening situation and turned to God.

Paul and Silas prayed in prison.

Again and again, Scripture shows people turning to God when human strength was not enough.

Therefore, do not allow the size of your problem to make you forget the greatness of your God.

When there is no human way, God can make a way.

Psalm 46:1

God is our refuge and strength and a present help in trouble.

God invites His people to call upon Him.

But he added:

HOW TO PRAY WHEN YOUR SITUATION LOOKS HOPELESS

1. Tell God the truth

Bring the actual problem before Him instead of pretending that everything is fine.

2. Ask specifically

Tell God what kind of help you need.

3. Trust God's wisdom

God may answer through a miracle, a person, an opportunity, wisdom, provision, healing, protection or a practical solution.

4. Take wise action

Prayer does not mean refusing to act. Where practical action is needed, take it.

5. Refuse to surrender to fear

A difficult situation is not proof that God has abandoned you.

6. Continue praying

Some situations require persistent prayer and patient faith.
