A divine visitation is not meant to be a temporary emotional experience. It is an invitation into a deeper relationship with God that transforms every area of life. When God visits His people, He expects them to grow spiritually, walk in obedience, bear lasting fruit, and remain steadfast in their devotion to Him.

Sadly, some believers experience powerful encounters with God during revival meetings, prayer conferences, or personal moments of worship, only to lose their spiritual fervor after a short time. The fire that once burned brightly gradually grows dim through spiritual neglect, compromise, distraction, prayerlessness, or worldliness. As a result, they fail to enjoy the fullness of what God intended through His visitation.

Jesus emphasized the importance of remaining connected to Him when He said:

"Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me." (John 15:4).

The Christian life is not sustained by occasional encounters but by daily communion with Christ. Every believer who desires to enjoy lasting spiritual growth must cultivate habits that preserve intimacy with God and protect the blessings that accompany His visitation.

Divine visitation is not the end of the journey.

1. CONTINUE IN PRAYER

Prayer is the lifeline of every believer.

After receiving a divine visitation, believers must not become spiritually complacent.

Instead, they should deepen their communion with God through consistent prayer.

The Bible instructs us:
