Key Scriptures: 1 Chronicles 4:9–10; Genesis 32:24–30

“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast...” — 1 Chronicles 4:10

There comes a time when a person must become determined to seek God concerning a persistent situation.

You may have endured the same disappointment for too long.

You may have experienced repeated failure, delay, stagnation, rejection, affliction, financial hardship, family problems, or cycles that seem to repeat themselves.

You may look physically active while feeling as though your life is not moving forward.

But today, your prayer is:

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

This is not a prayer of hatred toward people. It is a declaration that every work of darkness, every destructive pattern, every ungodly stronghold, and every situation contrary to God's purpose must come to an end.

WHAT DOES “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH” MEAN?

“Enough is enough” means reaching the point where you refuse to remain permanently trapped in a destructive situation.

It means taking your burden to God with persistent faith.

It means refusing to surrender to hopelessness.

It means asking God to expose what needs to be exposed, destroy what needs to be destroyed, heal what needs to be healed, and restore what needs to be restored.

Jesus taught the importance of persistence in prayer.

Luke 18:1 says:

“Men ought always to pray, and not to faint.”

The widow in Luke 18 continued to seek justice until her request was answered.

Therefore, persistent prayer is not about physically attacking anyone. It is about refusing to give up in seeking God.

JABEZ SAID ENOUGH

Jabez was born into a painful situation.

His mother named him Jabez because she bore him in sorrow.

But Jabez refused to allow the pain associated with his beginning to determine his future.

He cried to God:

“Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil.” — 1 Chronicles 4:10

And the Bible says:

“And God granted him that which he requested.”

Your beginning does not have to determine your ending.

Your past does not have to control your future.

Your family history does not have to become your permanent identity.

God is able to intervene.

JACOB REFUSED TO LET GO

Genesis 32 records Jacob's encounter with God.

Jacob wrestled until the blessing was released.

Genesis 32:26 says:

“I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.”

This demonstrates persistence and determination in seeking God's blessing.

Jacob's encounter produced a change in his life.

There are moments when you need to stop merely complaining about a situation and begin deliberately seeking God concerning it.

WHAT IS VIOLENT OR AGGRESSIVE PRAYER?

In spiritual-warfare language, violent prayer means fervent, persistent, bold, and determined prayer.

It does not mean physically attacking people.

It does not mean harming enemies.

It means refusing to surrender to evil, refusing to abandon faith, and persistently standing on God's Word.

Jesus said in Matthew 11:12:

“The kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.”

Persistent prayer is also seen in:

James 5:16:

“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

Therefore, your “Enough Is Enough” prayer should be:

PROGRAM INSTRUCTIONS

Prayer Time

12 midnight to 3:00 AM

Use this time for focused prayer, worship, Scripture reading, and seeking God.

Fasting

6:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 6:00 PM daily

Choose a fasting pattern appropriate for your circumstances. If fasting is medically unsuitable for you, seek an appropriate alternative such as prayer and devotional discipline.

The purpose of fasting is to seek God, not to harm your body.

PRAYER PREPARATION

A. Give Thanks

Thank God for your life, salvation, protection, mercy, and the testimony you are trusting Him for.

B. Confess Your Sins

Confess your known sins and ask God for mercy and cleansing.

1 John 1:9 says:

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.”

Rather than assuming that another person's sin automatically makes you guilty, bring your own life before God and ask Him to reveal anything that needs repentance or correction.

C. Quality Praise and Worship

Spend time praising God before entering the warfare prayers.

41. Every destructive foundation contrary to God's purpose for my life, be uprooted, in the name of Jesus.

44. Every family pattern of poverty, stagnation, division, or repeated hardship, be broken by the power of God, in the name of Jesus.
45. Every evil spiritual claim contrary to my relationship with Christ, be cancelled by the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
46. Every destructive covenant or agreement that contradicts God's Word concerning my life, be broken, in the name of Jesus.

48. Every accusation from my past being used to hinder my present, be answered by the mercy of God, in the name of Jesus.

61. O God, arise and fight for me, in the name of Jesus.
