Powerful Prayer Points for Deliverance From Every Evil Dedication
DELIVERANCE FROM EVERY EVIL DEDICATION
Key Scripture: Galatians 3:13–14
“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”
Introduction
Evil dedication is a serious spiritual warfare issue in which a person, family, property, or future is believed to have been deliberately dedicated to an idol, occult power, demonic covenant, shrine, marine power, evil association, or other spiritual system.
Some people discover patterns in their families that appear to repeat from generation to generation: persistent stagnation, strange limitations, recurring destructive patterns, unexplained fear, repeated disappointment, or a sense of being trapped.
Whether a dedication happened knowingly or unknowingly, the believer's foundation is Christ. Galatians 3:13 declares that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law.
Therefore, our confidence is not in human strength but in the finished work of Jesus Christ, the power of His blood, the authority of God's Word, genuine repentance, and faith in God.
This prayer session is designed to help you renounce every evil dedication, break ungodly covenants, reject every satanic claim over your life, and dedicate yourself and your household afresh to God.
What Is Evil Dedication?
Evil dedication may refer to the act of setting apart a person, child, property, possession, or family line for an ungodly spiritual purpose.
It may involve practices connected with idols, occult associations, ancestral rituals, shrines, covenants, or other spiritual systems.
Some people may have been dedicated as children without their knowledge or consent. Others may have participated in practices before becoming Christians and later desire to renounce them.
The important issue for a Christian is to turn away from every ungodly spiritual allegiance and consciously submit one's life to Jesus Christ.
Biblical Foundation for Deliverance
Christ Has Redeemed Us
Galatians 3:13 teaches that Christ has redeemed believers from the curse of the law.
We Belong to Christ
1 Corinthians 6:19–20 teaches that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and that believers belong to God.
God Calls His People Out of Darkness
Colossians 1:13 says that God has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son.
We Must Renounce Darkness
2 Corinthians 6:14–18 teaches believers not to join themselves with ungodly spiritual systems and calls God's people to separation from darkness.
Prayer Preparation
Before beginning these prayers:
A. Thank God for your life and for what He will do through these prayers.
B. Confess your sins. Confess every known and unknown sin and ask God for mercy. Where appropriate, confess and renounce sinful practices in your family history without assuming personal guilt for sins committed by your ancestors.
C. Engage in quality praise and worship.
D. Renounce every known ungodly spiritual allegiance. If you know of a specific dedication, covenant, idol, ritual, or practice, mention it specifically before God.
E. Place your faith in Jesus Christ. Your confidence is in Christ, not in fear of the past.
**F. If you are dealing with a specific family or spiritual situation, pray consistently and seek mature Christian counsel rather than acting out of fear.
