INTRODUCTION
Bewitchment is a serious subject in spiritual warfare. In Christian deliverance language, it can describe a situation in which a person experiences destructive spiritual influence, manipulation, deception, oppression or bondage that appears to interfere with their walk with God, progress, relationships, purpose or peace.
The Bible warns believers about deception, witchcraft, enchantment and every work of darkness. Yet our confidence is not in fear. Our confidence is in the power of God and the victory of Jesus Christ.
When the enemy seeks to manipulate what God has ordained for your life, you can call upon the Lord in prayer.
Every evil influence must bow before the authority of Jesus Christ.
Every evil pronouncement must fail.
Every satanic manipulation must be broken.
Every bondage must give way to freedom.
Every power fighting your progress must lose its hold.
Bewitchment must die, and the purpose of God for your life must stand, in the name of Jesus.
WHAT IS BEWITCHMENT?
Bewitchment is commonly used in deliverance and spiritual-warfare ministry to describe perceived witchcraft influence, manipulation, enchantment, spiritual oppression or destructive control over a person's life.
The Bible gives clear warnings about witchcraft, sorcery, enchantment and occult practices. Galatians 3:1 also uses the language of being “bewitched” in the context of being spiritually influenced away from the truth.
Therefore, these prayers focus on bringing every perceived spiritual oppression, evil influence, destructive pronouncement and satanic manipulation before God.
Not every difficulty in life is necessarily caused by witchcraft. Some problems require repentance, wisdom, medical care, counselling, reconciliation, education, financial planning or other practical action. Spiritual warfare and wise practical action can work together.
