SCRIPTURES
Isaiah 49:25–26
“But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.”
Psalm 91
Psalm 91 is a powerful declaration of God's protection from the snare of the enemy, terror by night, pestilence, destruction and every form of danger.
Psalm 23
“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.”
The Lord is our Shepherd, Protector, Deliverer and Preserver.
CONFESSION
Declare these words of Scripture with faith:
“The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.” — Psalm 27:1–2
I declare that the Lord is my light and my salvation.
I shall not live in fear.
The Lord is the strength of my life.
Every agenda of darkness against my life shall fail.
Every power assigned to consume my blessings, health, peace, progress and destiny shall be frustrated.
The Lord shall preserve me and everything that concerns me.
In the name of Jesus.
WHO ARE EATERS OF FLESH AND DRINKERS OF BLOOD?
In the language of spiritual warfare, “eaters of flesh and drinkers of blood” refers to powers and operations understood as seeking to consume, destroy, weaken or devour the lives and destinies of their victims.
Two major expressions commonly associated with this spiritual-warfare concept are:
- Drinking human blood.
- Eating human flesh.
The expression is also connected with the biblical imagery of enemies seeking to “eat up” the flesh of God's people.
Psalm 27:2 says:
“When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.”
Therefore, these prayers are directed against every destructive agenda operating against your life, health, family, destiny, peace, purpose and spiritual progress.
Close your eyes and pray:
Every power assigned to consume my blessings, weaken my life and destroy my destiny, your agenda is terminated by the power of God, in the name of Jesus.
THE AGENDA OF EATERS OF FLESH AND DRINKERS OF BLOOD
Jesus described the destructive purpose of the enemy in John 10:10:
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.”
The warfare language of “eaters of flesh and drinkers of blood” is therefore associated with destructive operations intended to steal, kill and destroy.
1. THEY SEEK TO STEAL THE VIRTUES OF THEIR VICTIMS
In spiritual-warfare teaching, dreams involving bleeding or loss of blood may be interpreted as symbols of loss, depletion or spiritual oppression.
However, dreams should be examined carefully rather than automatically treated as literal predictions of physical events.
Pray against every pattern of loss, depletion and destruction operating against your life.
2. THEY ARE ASSOCIATED WITH SICKNESS AND AFFLICTION
Some deliverance traditions interpret dreams involving cuts, bites, injuries, injections, feeding or attacks as symbols of spiritual contamination or oppression.
But physical illness should not automatically be attributed to spiritual causes. Medical symptoms require appropriate medical attention.
Whether the source is spiritual, physical, emotional or otherwise, we can bring every concern before God in prayer.
Jeremiah 17:14 says:
“Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved.”
3. THEY REPRESENT DESTRUCTIVE BLOODSHED
The imagery of bloodshed also reminds us of the reality of violence, war and destruction in the world.
As believers, we pray for protection, peace, justice and the defeat of every work of darkness.
4. THEY ARE ASSOCIATED WITH DESTRUCTIVE DISEASE AND AFFLICTION
The original teaching connects this spiritual-warfare concept with serious illnesses.
However, diseases such as cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS and blood disorders have established medical causes and should be addressed through qualified medical care.
Prayer and medical treatment do not have to be enemies. Seek God in prayer while also seeking appropriate medical diagnosis and treatment.
STRATEGIES OF EATERS OF FLESH AND DRINKERS OF BLOOD
The following are common themes in spiritual-warfare teaching concerning this subject.
1. EVIL ARROWS
Ephesians 6:16 speaks about:
“the fiery darts of the wicked.”
In warfare prayer, evil arrows represent attacks, afflictions, accusations or destructive operations directed against a person's life.
Pray against every evil arrow assigned against your health, family, destiny and spiritual life.
2. WAR AND BLOODSHED
The enemy's destructive agenda is associated with violence and destruction.
We therefore pray for God to frustrate every assignment of violence and preserve lives.
3. DISASTERS, ACCIDENTS AND TRAGEDIES
Pray for divine protection against accidents, disasters and every form of unexpected tragedy.
Psalm 91:11 says:
“For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.”
4. SICKNESS AND DISEASE
Spiritual warfare prayers can be offered against sickness and affliction while medical care is also sought.
Psalm 103:2–3 says:
“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases.”
5. STEALING FROM VICTIMS
The enemy's agenda is described as stealing, killing and destroying.
Therefore, pray for restoration of everything that has been lost, delayed, stolen or wasted.
6. TERRIBLE DREAM ATTACKS
These may include dreams involving:
- Dog bites
- Human bites
- Accidents
- Injuries
- Amputations
- Bloodshed
- Death
- Being chased
- Being attacked
Such dreams can be frightening, but they should not automatically be interpreted as predictions that the event will happen physically.
Bring every disturbing dream before God in prayer.
7. MINISTRY OF EVIL POTS
The imagery of evil pots or witchcraft cauldrons is used in some deliverance traditions to represent spiritual oppression, captivity and the manipulation of a person's affairs.
The appropriate warfare response is to pray for every such operation to be broken and rendered powerless.
8. PLACENTA MANIPULATION
Some deliverance teachings associate the placenta with spiritual attacks and ancestral practices.
The placenta is biologically important during pregnancy, but claims that improperly disposed placenta necessarily causes spiritual bondage are not established medical facts.
Nevertheless, anyone who has fears concerning pregnancy, childbirth or family spiritual history can bring those fears to God in prayer.
WHO ARE THE POWERS ASSOCIATED WITH EATERS OF FLESH AND DRINKERS OF BLOOD?
In spiritual-warfare teaching, various categories of spiritual opposition are associated with this terminology.
1. ANCESTRAL POWERS
These may be described in deliverance teaching as ancestral strongholds, evil dedications, family spiritual patterns and other inherited influences.
The Bible teaches believers to turn away from idolatry and serve the living God.
2. WITCHCRAFT POWERS
Relevant Scriptures include:
- 2 Chronicles 33:6
- Exodus 22:18
- Deuteronomy 18:10
The Bible consistently warns God's people against occult practices, divination and sorcery.
3. SORCERERS, VOODOO PRACTITIONERS AND WITCHDOCTORS
The Bible records encounters with individuals involved in sorcery and occult practices.
Acts 8:9 describes Simon as one who previously practiced sorcery.
Our response as Christians is not fear but confidence in the authority of Christ.
4. SPIRITUAL SPOUSE
Some deliverance traditions use this term for troubling dreams involving sexual encounters or recurring dream relationships.
Such experiences can be deeply disturbing. Rather than treating every dream as proof of a literal spiritual marriage, bring the matter before God and reject every experience that contradicts biblical teaching.
5. DIVINERS
Acts 16:16 records the account of a girl associated with a spirit of divination.
The Bible teaches believers to seek God rather than occult sources of spiritual knowledge.
6. OTHER SATANIC INTERMEDIARIES
These may include:
- Enchanters
- Familiar spirits
- Occult practitioners
- Magicians
- Diviners
- Psychics
Deuteronomy 18:9–12 clearly warns against occult practices.
7. HOUSEHOLD WICKEDNESS
Deliverance prayers sometimes refer to:
- Powers of the father's house
- Powers of the mother's house
- Family strongholds
- Family idolatry
- Evil dedications
- Generational patterns
Whatever the source of a destructive pattern, the believer's answer is to place confidence in Jesus Christ and reject every practice contrary to God.
FACTORS THAT ARE BELIEVED TO ENERGIZE THIS AGENDA
1. HUMAN OR ANIMAL SACRIFICE
The Bible strongly condemns human sacrifice and pagan sacrificial practices.
Deuteronomy 12:31 warns against such practices.
Pray that every evil dedication or sacrifice allegedly connected to your life shall lose its power.
2. CURSES
The Bible contains many references to blessings and curses, but believers should not live in fear.
Galatians 3:13 says:
“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us.”
Our confidence is therefore in Christ.
3. STRONGHOLDS
The Bible speaks about strongholds and spiritual warfare.
2 Corinthians 10:4 says:
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.”
Pray against every stronghold that contradicts God's purpose for your life.
4. ANCESTRAL POTS
The imagery of ancestral pots represents family spiritual bondage in deliverance teaching.
Pray that every family stronghold and every ungodly spiritual inheritance shall be broken through the power of Christ.
5. GRAVES AND NECROMANCY
The Bible expressly prohibits attempts to communicate with the dead.
Deuteronomy 18:9–12 warns God's people against necromancy and occult practices.
Reject every form of occultism and seek the living God.
6. EVIL LOCATIONS
Some believers associate certain places with spiritual oppression.
If a particular environment is causing genuine physical danger or distress, take practical steps to protect yourself while praying for God's direction.
Psalm 121:8 says:
“The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in.”
7. EVIL FEEDING
Dreams involving eating or drinking can be disturbing.
Do not allow fear to control you. Bring such dreams before God and pray for cleansing, peace and spiritual strength.
8. EVIL ALTARS
The Bible repeatedly warns against idolatrous altars.
The Christian's confidence is in the altar and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
Hebrews 13:10 reminds believers that we have an altar.
DREAMS SOMETIMES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SPIRITUAL-WARFARE THEME
The following experiences are commonly discussed in deliverance ministries:
- Destructive or attacking animals in dreams.
- Being fed by unknown people in dreams.
- Seeing blood.
- Seeing snakes.
- Seeing spiritual surgeons or being operated on.
- Being injected.
- Being beaten.
- Experiencing accidents with injuries.
- Seeing slaughterhouses.
- Seeing raw meat.
- Seeing blood being taken.
- Seeing cuts or wounds on the body.
These experiences can be frightening, but a dream is not automatically a prophecy or proof that a physical event will happen.
Pray, remain grounded in Scripture, and seek appropriate help if you are experiencing physical symptoms or persistent distress.
PHYSICAL SYMPTOMS THAT REQUIRE ATTENTION
The original teaching associates this spiritual-warfare concept with symptoms such as:
- Sudden changes in blood levels.
- Unexplained weight loss.
- Changes in organ function.
- Persistent or unexplained sickness.
- Repeated disturbing dreams.
- Stabbing or unusual pains.
- Recurrent illnesses within a family.
- Affliction.
- Oppression.
- Fear of spiritual attack.
- Fear of premature death.
These symptoms should not automatically be attributed to demonic activity.
If you experience unexplained bleeding, severe pain, sudden weight loss, abnormal blood results, organ problems, persistent illness or any other concerning symptom, please seek medical evaluation promptly while continuing to pray.
THE WAY OUT
1. MAKE JESUS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOUR
Jesus is the burden bearer, yoke breaker and deliverer.
Matthew 11:28 says:
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
2. SEEK GOD FOR DELIVERANCE
You may pray personally and, where appropriate, seek prayer and spiritual guidance from a trusted Christian minister.
3. BREAK EVERY SATANIC NETWORK
Pray against every spiritual operation that contradicts the will of God.
4. PRAY TARGETED PRAYERS
Use the weapons Scripture gives you:
- The Word of God
- Faith
- Prayer
- The name of Jesus
- The blood of Jesus
- The power of the Holy Spirit
5. PRAY RESTORATION PRAYERS
Ask God to restore everything that has been lost, stolen, delayed or destroyed.
Joel 2:25 says:
“And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten.”
6. REJECT EVERY WORK OF DARKNESS
Rather than living in fear of people, stand against every work of darkness and place judgment in God's hands.
7. COVER YOUR LIFE IN PRAYER
Pray continually for God's protection and walk in obedience to His Word.

SESSION ONE — PRAYERS AGAINST AFFLICTION AND UNTÍMELY DEATH

8. Every arrow of untimely death fired against my life, jump out and be rendered powerless, in the name of Jesus.
9. Every agenda assigned to consume my health, peace, blessings and destiny, be destroyed by the fire of God, in the name of Jesus.
10. Blood of Jesus, wash away every effect of every strange touch and every evil transmission directed against my life, in the name of Jesus.
SESSION TWO — PRAYERS AGAINST SATANIC ANIMALS AND EVIL ARROWS
11. Every satanic animal represented in my dreams or spiritual warfare, come out with every evil load and lose your power, in the name of Jesus.
12. Blood of Jesus, purge my blood and body from every evil injection, contamination and affliction, in the name of Jesus.
13. Every spiritual vulture assigned to feed on my virtues or represent destruction against my life, be scattered by the fire of God, in the name of Jesus.
14. Every bondage of inherited sickness and destructive family patterns in my life, break now by the power of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
15. Thou power of affliction, hear the word of the Lord: break and lose your hold over my life, in the name of Jesus.
16. Every evil hand stretched forth against me in the dream or in spiritual warfare, wither and lose its power, in the name of Jesus.
17. Every evil agenda assigned to destroy my life, backfire and return to nothing by the power of God, in the mighty name of Jesus.
18. Every invisible force following me around to monitor, oppress or frustrate my progress, be exposed and rendered powerless, in the name of Jesus.
19. Every witchcraft operation assigned against my life, be dismantled by the fire of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus.
20. O Lord, arise by all the power by which You are known as God and perfect everything that concerns me and my household, in the name of Jesus.
SESSION THREE — PRAYERS AGAINST LOSS AND SATANIC CONSUMPTION
21. Every power siphoning away my virtues, lose your power and release everything God has ordained for me, in the name of Jesus.
22. Holy Ghost fire, purge every area of my life from every evil contamination and every affliction, in the name of Jesus.
23. By faith, I declare the cleansing and saving power of the blood of Jesus over my blood, organs and entire body, in the name of Jesus.
24. I break every covenant of destruction and every agreement contrary to God's purpose for my health, in the name of Jesus.
25. Every evil hand raised against me in the dream, wither and burn to ashes by the fire of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus.
26. Every evil pot cooking the affairs of my life, break into pieces and lose your power, in the name of Jesus.
27. Every satanic operation represented by a wicked pot and directed against my health, be smashed and rendered powerless, in the name of Jesus.
28. Every evil influence represented by water from a satanic cauldron and associated with pollution against my life, dry up by fire, in the name of Jesus.
29. Every evil pot assigned against my life and destiny, lose your power and become useless, in the name of Jesus.
30. Every satanic transfer associated with my birth and placenta, be cancelled by the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.

31. Every cage of placental manipulation and every spiritual bondage associated with my birth, break now, in the name of Jesus.

33. Every power attempting to use my birth history as a means of spiritual oppression, lose your power over me, in the name of Jesus.
34. I release myself from every evil domination, manipulation and control contrary to the will of God, in the name of Jesus.
35. Every power hunting for my life, my health, my peace and my destiny, stumble and fall before the power of God, in the name of Jesus.
36. Every evil cauldron representing captivity over my destiny, I command your operation to break completely, in the name of Jesus.
37. I bind and render powerless every stronghold supervising the problems troubling my life, in the name of Jesus.
38. Every strongman of darkness supervising an agenda of destruction against my life, be dethroned and lose your power, in the name of Jesus.
39. Every animal sacrifice or satanic sacrifice associated with my name and destiny, let its power be cancelled by the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
40. Every evil grave or symbolic grave prepared against my life, become powerless and be cancelled by the authority of Jesus Christ, in the name of Jesus.
SESSION FIVE — PRAYERS AGAINST EVIL ALTARS AND SPIRITUAL FEEDING
41. Thunder of God, scatter every demonic operation represented by animals assigned against my life and destiny, in the name of Jesus.
42. Every evil altar containing my name, identity or anything associated with me, release me and catch fire by the power of God, in the name of Jesus.
43. Blood of Jesus, wipe my name from every satanic register, record and agenda contrary to God's purpose for my life, in the name of Jesus.
44. Blood of Jesus, restore to me everything I have lost through every destructive operation against my life, in the name of Jesus.
45. Every agenda of spiritual feeders against my life, die by fire and lose your power, in the name of Jesus.
46. Every evil spiritual feeding assigned against me, be cancelled, and every negative effect be destroyed by the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
47. I reject and renounce every evil food or drink that I may have encountered in troubling dreams, and I declare that its negative effect shall have no power over me, in the name of Jesus.
48. Every power behind persistent eating and drinking in troubling dreams, lose your power and be destroyed by the fire of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus.
49. Every disease or affliction that I have associated with spiritual oppression, Father, bring healing, restoration and deliverance according to Your will, in the name of Jesus.
50. Every slaughterhouse represented in dreams or spiritual warfare and every agenda of destruction against my life, catch fire and become powerless, in the name of Jesus.
SESSION SIX — PRAYERS OF TOTAL VICTORY AND RESTORATION
51. I cancel the negative effect of every wicked dream and every troubling dream experience by the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
52. Every Balaam-like agenda, accusation, curse or evil pronouncement raised against my life, fail completely by the power of God, in the name of Jesus.
53. Every witchcraft agenda against my life, family, health, ministry, progress and destiny, be destroyed by the fire of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus.
54. Every ancestral bondage, evil dedication, family stronghold and destructive spiritual pattern working against my life, break completely by the blood of Jesus; I declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over my life, my family and my destiny, in the name of Jesus.

Every stronghold of darkness is pulled down.
I am covered by the blood of Jesus.
I am preserved by the power of God.
I shall fulfil my God-given purpose.
I shall live and declare the works of the Lord.
