Introduction: Why Pray for the Deliverance of Your Hands?

Our hands are important instruments through which we work, create, serve, build businesses, earn a living, help others, and fulfil God's purpose for our lives.

The Bible teaches that God can bless the work of our hands, give us wisdom to prosper, and establish the things we do according to His will. Yet people sometimes experience repeated setbacks, lost opportunities, failed businesses, unemployment, debt, and frustration despite their efforts.

In Christian warfare prayer, the deliverance of the hands represents asking God to remove obstacles, break destructive patterns, restore opportunities, and release us from anything that hinders fruitful work.

These prayers cover your career, business, employment, finances, skills, family responsibilities, and future. Pray with faith, but also remain diligent, seek wisdom, develop your skills, and take practical steps toward your goals.

Ecclesiastes 9:10: “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might.”

Biblical Examples of God's Blessing on the Work of Our Hands

1. God Established the Work of Moses

In Psalm 90:17, Moses prayed that the Lord would establish the work of their hands. This teaches us to depend on God not only for opportunities but also for lasting results.

2. God Blessed Joseph's Work

Genesis 39:3: “And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.”

Joseph experienced hardship, but God remained with him and gave him favour and responsibility. His story reminds us that difficult circumstances do not have to determine the end of our lives.

3. God Gave Israel the Promise of Fruitful Labour

Deuteronomy 28:12 describes God's blessing upon the work of His people. It reminds believers to seek God's guidance, obey His Word, and trust Him for provision.
