Introduction

Every journey begins with a departure and ends with an arrival, but only God knows everything that can happen along the way.

Whether travelling by road, air, sea, rail or any other means of transportation, we should commit our journeys into the hands of God.

There are dangers we can see and dangers we cannot see. There are responsible drivers and careless drivers, safe routes and dangerous routes, predictable situations and unexpected circumstances.

Therefore, these prayers are not prayers of fear. They are prayers of faith, divine preservation and spiritual warfare.

We are asking God to go before us, order our steps, expose hidden dangers, frustrate evil plans and preserve us from every form of harm.

We are also praying against every evil journey, satanic trap, dangerous encounter, transportation disaster, wicked ambush, unnecessary delay, confusion, theft, attack and calamity that could threaten our safety.

1. God Went Before Israel

When the children of Israel travelled through the wilderness, God went before them.

Exodus 13:21 says:

In Genesis 24, Abraham sent his servant on an important journey to find a wife for Isaac.
