50 Powerful Prayers for Safe Travel and Divine Protection on Every Journey With Bible Verses

50 Powerful Prayers for Safe Travel and Divine Protection on Every Journey With Bible Verses

Key Scripture

Psalm 121:8

“The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.”

Introduction

Every journey begins with a destination, but no traveller knows everything that may happen along the way. Whether you are travelling by road, air, sea, rail or another means of transportation, it is important to commit your journey into the hands of God.

You may be travelling for work, business, school, ministry, family responsibilities, holidays, medical appointments, relocation or any other legitimate purpose.

The Bible says:

Psalm 121:7–8

“The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in…”

These prayers are focused on divine protection, warfare against danger, accidents, evil attacks, robbery, hidden traps, sudden calamity and every threat that could interfere with your safe journey.

Pray before you leave. Pray during your journey. Pray for those travelling with you. Pray for the vehicle, driver, route and destination.

And as you pray, use wisdom: obey traffic laws, use appropriate safety equipment, maintain vehicles properly and never travel while impaired or dangerously fatigued.
