50 Powerful Prayers Against Insomnia and Sleeplessness With Bible Verses

Introduction
Sleep is a gift from God. The body and mind need adequate rest, yet many people experience persistent sleeplessness, restless nights, disturbing dreams, fear, anxiety, racing thoughts, or repeated waking.
For some people, sleeplessness may have ordinary physical, emotional, environmental, medication-related, or health-related causes. It is important not to assume that every sleep problem is caused by spiritual attack. Persistent or severe insomnia should also be discussed with a qualified healthcare professional.
At the same time, as believers, we can commit our nights to God in prayer and ask Him for peace, protection, wisdom and deliverance from anything that is troubling us.
The Bible says:
Psalm 127:2
“He giveth his beloved sleep.”
Therefore, we are going to pray aggressively against fear, torment, disturbing dreams, night oppression, spiritual attacks, anxiety, evil monitoring, demonic harassment, and every force seeking to steal our peace at night.
Tonight, the battle for your sleep must end.
You will not spend the night wrestling with fear.
You will not surrender your nights to torment.
You will not remain a prisoner of sleeplessness.
The Lord shall give you peaceful rest.

Peter Slept in Prison
Peter was imprisoned and chained between soldiers, yet he was sleeping when the angel of the Lord came to deliver him.
Acts 12:6-7
His circumstances were frightening, but God gave him supernatural peace.
Jesus Slept During the Storm
While the disciples were terrified during a storm, Jesus was asleep in the boat.

PREPARING FOR NIGHT WARFARE PRAYER
Before you sleep, deliberately commit your night into God's hands.
- Reject fear.
- Forgive those you need to forgive.
- Ask God to search your heart.
- Renounce every ungodly agreement you knowingly made.
- Read a few passages of Scripture.
- Pray over your room and your sleep.
- Ask God for wisdom concerning any persistent sleep problem.
- Do not deliberately cultivate fear by assuming that every bad dream or sleepless night is supernatural.
