Introduction

The relationship between parents and children can sometimes become wounded by misunderstanding, harsh words, disappointment, neglect, rebellion, resentment, financial conflicts, broken trust or years of unresolved pain.

But God is a God of restoration.

6. Forgive without pretending that harmful behaviour never happened.
7. Establish healthy boundaries where necessary.
8. Do not allow relatives or outsiders to continually fuel family conflict.
9. Give reconciliation time when wounds are deep.
10. Seek mature Christian or professional counsel when serious family issues require additional help.
