DEEP DELIVERANCE: POWERFUL DELIVERANCE PRAYERS WITH BIBLE VERSES

Matthew 8:22–24; Luke 8:1–3
The ministry of Jesus Christ demonstrates His authority over sickness, oppression and the works of darkness. Throughout Scripture, we see people coming to God for freedom, restoration and divine intervention.
1 John 3:8 declares:
“For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”
Christ is the source of our deliverance.
INTRODUCTION
Deliverance can be approached at different levels.
There is partial deliverance, there is surface deliverance, and there is also what is called deep deliverance.
There are some problems that are deep and others that are on the surface.
When a problem is on the surface, it may be easier to deal with through prayer.
But when a problem is deeply rooted, it would require more effort to pull it out because when you want to get something that is deep, you have to dig deep.
There are problems that appear deeply rooted and that people may find difficult to discuss with others because they sound very strange or difficult to explain.
This is why some believers seek God through prolonged prayer, fasting, Scripture reading and spiritual warfare.
Jeremiah 1:10 speaks about the authority to:
“root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.”
God is able to reach the root of a problem.
WHAT IS DEEP DELIVERANCE?
Deep deliverance refers to seeking God's intervention in persistent, deeply rooted or longstanding spiritual and life struggles.
It involves bringing hidden and difficult areas of life before God and asking Him to expose, uproot, destroy and replace everything that is contrary to His purpose.
Psalm 18:16 says:
“He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.”
God knows how to reach a person even when the situation appears impossible.
CHARACTERISTICS OF CANDIDATES FOR DEEP DELIVERANCE
The following are situations that may lead a person to seek intensive prayer and spiritual guidance:
1. Spiritual blockage
Those who feel spiritually blocked and struggle with receiving direction, revelation or clarity may seek God earnestly for breakthrough.
2. Constant sexual harassment
Those who experience recurring disturbing sexual experiences, particularly in dreams, may seek prayer and spiritual counsel.
3. Strange voices
People who experience disturbing or unexplained voices should seek prayer and appropriate spiritual and professional support.
4. Invisible load on the head
Some people describe experiencing a persistent sensation of heaviness or an unexplained burden.
5. Involvement with palm readers, satanic advisors or psychics
If you have deliberately participated in occult practices or sought supernatural guidance outside God, bring the matter before God in repentance and prayer.
Deuteronomy 18:10–12 warns against occult practices.
6. Evil covenants and curses
Those who believe they are operating under destructive covenants or curses may seek God's mercy and deliverance.
7. Inherited problems
Some people experience recurring family problems and seek God for freedom from destructive patterns.
8. Evil trends in the family
Persistent patterns of failure, broken relationships, poverty, addiction or other destructive situations may cause someone to seek intensive prayer.
9. Things mysteriously disappearing
Some people experience repeated loss or unexplained disappearance of personal belongings and interpret these experiences spiritually.
10. Unexplainable hatred
Some people experience persistent rejection or hostility without understanding why.
11. Former involvement with occult practices
Anyone who has been involved with occult practices should turn away from them and seek God wholeheartedly.
12. A history of poverty
Persistent financial hardship can become a major area of prayer and spiritual warfare.
13. People who feel their lives have been rearranged
Some people feel that their lives have moved far away from the direction they expected.
14. Those who have been displaced from the front to the back
Someone who once experienced progress may suddenly experience repeated setbacks.
15. Those who feel diverted from God's purpose
A person may feel disconnected from the direction and purpose they believe God has for their life.
16. Those fishing in the ocean of life and catching nothing
This describes repeated effort with little visible result.
17. Those who have experienced lifelong ridicule
Persistent humiliation and rejection can become a serious matter of prayer.
18. Those confused about the life they should live
Prayer can help believers seek God's direction and wisdom.
James 1:5 says:
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God.”
19. Disturbing animal dreams
Some people report recurring dreams involving animals such as goats, cats, rats, bats, termites, serpents or mudfish and may seek spiritual counsel concerning them.
20. Sexual perversion in a family history
A history of destructive sexual behaviour, abuse or other serious family patterns can require prayer, repentance, boundaries and appropriate support.
21. History of abortion
Anyone carrying emotional or spiritual burdens connected with past abortion can bring them before God and seek His mercy and healing.
22. Moving backward instead of forward
When someone repeatedly experiences setbacks despite sincere effort, it can become a major prayer concern.
23. Sudden financial collapse
Someone who was previously prosperous but suddenly experienced severe financial decline may need both practical financial evaluation and intensive prayer.
24. Trials that refuse to end
Longstanding trials can produce exhaustion, but Scripture encourages believers to continue trusting God.
Psalm 34:19 says:
“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.”
25. Unnatural movements in parts of the body
Any unexplained physical movement should also be medically evaluated while the person continues to seek God in prayer.
26. Chain problems
Repeated situations that seem to bind a person in the same cycle can become a focus of intensive prayer.
27. Horrible experiences in dreams
Disturbing dreams can cause fear and anxiety. Believers can bring those fears before God and declare His protection.
Psalm 4:8 says:
“I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.”
WHEN THE BATTLE SEEMS DEEP
Some people experience disturbing thoughts that are difficult to understand.
There may be dreadful thoughts, tormenting thoughts, sexual thoughts, thoughts of cruelty or even thoughts of suicide.
Such thoughts should never be ignored or treated merely as a spiritual issue. A person experiencing thoughts of suicide or self-harm should seek immediate help from a trusted person and qualified mental-health or medical professional, while also receiving prayer and spiritual support.
God cares about the whole person.
Psalm 147:3 says:
“He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.”
WHEN BREAKTHROUGH SEEMS CLOSE BUT SOMETHING CHANGES
For some people, everything appears to be going well and they seem to be approaching a breakthrough, but then they experience a disturbing dream or sudden setback.
This can become a source of fear.
Instead of surrendering to fear, take the matter to God.
Isaiah 41:10 says:
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee.”
Pray.
Study the Word.
Seek godly counsel.
Continue believing God.
WHEN MONEY COMES AND PROBLEMS FOLLOW
Some people experience a repeated cycle where whenever money comes, unexpected expenses immediately arise until the money is exhausted.
They may then experience another period of scarcity before money comes again.
Such a situation can be addressed through both prayer and practical wisdom.
Ask God for wisdom concerning finances, discipline, opportunities, stewardship and breakthrough.
Deuteronomy 28:12 says:
“The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure.”
Pray for both provision and wisdom.
ARE YOU TIRED OF PERSISTENT BATTLES?
If you are tired of persistent battles, do not give up.
Become serious in your walk with God.
Pray with faith.
Fast when appropriate.
Study the Word.
Worship God.
Repent where necessary.
Seek godly counsel.
James 5:16 says:
“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”
Come before God with expectation.
The purpose of these prayers is to seek God's intervention, freedom, restoration and victory.
PRAYER PREPARATION
Before beginning the prayer points:
A. Thank God
Thank God for your life and for what you believe He will do.
B. Confess Your Sins
Confess known sins and ask God for mercy.
Psalm 51:10 says:
“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”
Where there are family patterns that concern you, bring them before God without fear.
C. Quality Praise and Worship
Spend time praising and worshipping God before beginning the warfare prayers.
Psalm 22:3 says:
“But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.”

- Root of my problems, be uprooted now by fire in the name of Jesus.
- Goliath in my root, die in the name of Jesus.
- Battles of my life and family, collapse now by fire in the name of Jesus.
- Powers behind my problems, die in the name of Jesus.
- Enemies of my life and family, die now by fire in the name of Jesus.
- Any satanic power controlling, ruling and manipulating my life and family, die now by fire in the name of Jesus.
SESSION 2 — BREAKING SATANIC OPPRESSION
- Any satanic power monitoring my life and family for evil, die now by fire in the name of Jesus.
- Any demon or evil spirit oppressing my life and family, die now by fire in the name of Jesus.
- Serpents and scorpions in my body, die now by fire in the name of Jesus.
- Any evil arrow fired into my life, backfire now by fire in the name of Jesus.
- Any evil plantation and evil dream operating in my life and family, be uprooted now by fire in the name of Jesus.
- O God of Elijah, loose me now by fire in the name of Jesus.
- O God of Elijah, restore me now by fire in the name of Jesus.
- Any evil covenant working against me and my family, break now by fire in the name of Jesus.
SESSION 3 — COVENANTS, CURSES AND DEDICATIONS
- Any curse working against me and my family, break now by fire in the name of Jesus.
- Blood of Jesus, break my yoke now by fire in the name of Jesus.
- Any evil dedication in my life, die now by fire in the name of Jesus.
- Any man or woman calling or circulating my name for evil, let every evil operation against me be destroyed in the name of Jesus.
- Every serpent of my father's house, today is your final day, in the name of Jesus.
- My destiny, arise from the graveyard and shine, in the name of Jesus.
- O God, arise and do not pass me by, in the name of Jesus.
- Power to be lifted up, fall upon me now, in the name of Jesus.
FAITH CONFESSION
I declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over my life.
I belong to God.
Every chain holding my life shall break.
Every evil covenant contrary to God's purpose for my life shall break.
Every satanic power assigned against my destiny shall lose its power.
Every foundational battle shall collapse.
Every evil plantation shall be uprooted.
Every satanic manipulation shall cease.
Every evil monitoring operation shall fail.
My destiny shall arise.
My glory shall shine.
My life shall move forward.
My family shall experience divine intervention.
The Lord shall restore what has been lost.
The Lord shall deliver me from every oppression.
The Lord shall fight my battles.
I shall not remain in bondage.
I shall not die in the battle.
I shall testify of the goodness of the Lord.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS
I decree that every persistent battle in your life shall come to an end.
Every root of affliction shall be uprooted.
Every evil covenant shall break.
Every satanic chain shall break.
Every foundational limitation shall collapse.
Every power manipulating your progress shall lose its grip.
Every evil monitoring operation against your life shall fail.
Your destiny shall arise.
Your glory shall shine.
Your helpers shall locate you.
Your opportunities shall not be diverted.
Your family shall experience restoration.
Your peace shall return.
Your joy shall return.
Your progress shall return.
Every prolonged trial shall receive divine intervention.
The Lord shall fight for you.

The Lord shall lift you.
The Lord shall give you victory.

SHORT CLOSING PRAYER
Father, in the name of Jesus, arise and deliver everyone praying these prayers.
Reach every deep-rooted battle.
Break every evil covenant.
Destroy every satanic oppression.
Break every chain.
Uproot every evil plantation.
Destroy every work of darkness.
Restore lost glory.
Restore wasted opportunities.
Restore peace and joy.
Let every prolonged battle come to an end.
Let Your light shine upon their lives.
Let their destinies arise.
Let their testimonies appear.
Give them total victory.
In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
