Introduction
False accusations can cause serious emotional, relational, professional, and spiritual distress. An evil report can damage someone's reputation, create suspicion, destroy trust, or produce consequences based on information that is untrue or deliberately distorted.
The Bible contains many examples of righteous people being falsely accused. Joseph was falsely accused by Potiphar's wife. Daniel was targeted through false accusations. Jesus Christ Himself was falsely accused by His enemies.
Yet God remained their defender.
When you are confronted by false accusations, do not respond with revenge or falsehood. Bring the matter before God, pursue truth and righteousness, and ask Him to expose what is false and establish what is true.

Psalm 35:1:
