INTRODUCTION
A spell, in the context of occult practice, is generally understood as an attempt to use supernatural or magical means to influence, harm, control or manipulate a person or situation.
The Bible warns God's people against sorcery, enchantment, divination and other occult practices. Christians are not called to live in fear of such things. They are called to put their confidence in God.
The Bible declares:
Numbers 23:23: “Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel.”
This is a powerful reminder that the purposes of God cannot simply be overturned by an evil spiritual declaration.
These prayers focus on asking God to break every harmful spell, cancel every evil enchantment, destroy every work of darkness, frustrate wicked plans and restore anything that has been negatively affected.

Balak wanted Balaam to curse Israel, but God prevented the curse from accomplishing its intended purpose.

2. Pharaoh's Magicians
The magicians of Egypt attempted to imitate some of Moses' signs, but God's power ultimately demonstrated its superiority.
