Introduction
One of the most frustrating experiences in life is facing the same type of battle repeatedly.
You overcome one problem, only to face something similar again. You make progress, and suddenly another setback appears. You experience a breakthrough, but the same difficulty returns.
This can happen in different areas of life. A person may experience repeated financial difficulties, recurring career setbacks, repeated disappointments, persistent family problems, cycles of delay, or seemingly endless opposition.
When a problem keeps returning, it is important not to respond only to the latest incident. Seek God concerning the pattern itself.
The Bible teaches us to stand firm in prayer and resist the works of darkness.
James 4:7 (KJV) says:
“Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
Repeated battles should not convince you that victory is impossible. God is able to break destructive cycles, give you wisdom, deliver you from oppression, and establish you in lasting victory.

Final Encouragement

Sometimes victory comes through supernatural intervention. At other times, God may reveal a practical change, a decision, a relationship that needs to end, a habit that needs to change, or a new direction that must be followed.
Do not only ask God to change the circumstances.
Ask Him to show you what you need to see, change what you need to change, and establish you where He wants you to be.
Your present battle does not have to become your permanent condition.
