Introduction
Deliverance is not the end of the Christian journey.
When God brings a person out of bondage, the next responsibility is to continue walking with Christ, remain rooted in God's Word, maintain a prayer life, and resist returning to former ways of living.
Jesus said:
John 8:36

The freedom Christ gives is precious. It should be guarded through a consistent relationship with God.
After deliverance, a person should not live in constant fear of returning to bondage. Instead, the believer should learn to walk in the freedom Christ provides.

What If You Still Experience Temptation After Deliverance?
Experiencing temptation does not automatically mean that deliverance did not take place.
Christians still face temptation.
Jesus Himself was tempted.

“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”
The important issue is how you respond.
When temptation comes:
Pray.
Resist.
Return to God's Word.
Avoid the situation when necessary.

Repent if you fall into sin.
Get back up and continue walking with Christ.
Do not allow fear to convince you that every difficult moment means you have returned to bondage.
What If You Fall After Deliverance?
Do not give up.
Proverbs 24:16

If you fall into sin:
Confess it to God.
Repent sincerely.
Receive His forgiveness.
Learn from what happened.
Take practical steps to avoid repeating it.
Continue following Christ.

Heavenly Father,
