50 Prayer Points Against Spiritual Blindness (With Bible Verses)
50 Prayer Points Against Spiritual Blindness (With Bible Verses)
Introduction
Spiritual blindness can describe a condition in which a person struggles to recognize God's truth, understand His Word, discern what is right, or recognize the direction He is giving.
The Bible repeatedly encourages believers to seek wisdom, understanding, discernment, and spiritual light.
Jesus said:
John 8:12 (KJV)
“I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
Meaning:
Christ is the source of spiritual light. As you pray, ask Him to illuminate your heart, mind, decisions, and understanding.
Spiritual blindness can sometimes result from ignorance, distraction, pride, bitterness, fear, wrong influences, persistent sin, or simply a season of spiritual dryness. Prayer should therefore be accompanied by humility, repentance, Scripture, wise counsel, and a willingness to obey God's truth.
