How to Uproot Evil Plantations Biblically: Bible Study and 50 Prayer Points
Introduction
The Bible uses the imagery of planting, roots, fruit, and harvest to describe many things that develop in a person's life. Jesus also taught that not every planting is from God.
In Matthew 15:13, Jesus said:
“Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.”
This Scripture gives us a powerful biblical principle: whatever is contrary to God's will must not be allowed to establish itself in our lives.
The expression “evil plantation” is commonly used in spiritual warfare to describe ungodly things that a person believes have been established in his or her life and are producing destructive fruit.
However, biblical spiritual warfare should not be based on fear or the assumption that every problem is caused by an invisible spiritual force. Scripture teaches us to examine our lives, repent of sin, resist evil, renew our minds with God's Word, pray, and walk in obedience to God.

What Does “Evil Plantation” Mean Biblically?
A plantation begins with a seed.
A seed is planted.
It develops roots.
It grows.
Eventually, it produces fruit.
Jesus used similar imagery when teaching about spiritual realities.
Matthew 7:17-18
“Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.”
The principle is important: what is planted eventually produces fruit.
Therefore, when something consistently produces destructive fruit, we should examine its root.
This may include:
- Sinful habits
- Wrong beliefs
- Unforgiveness
- Bitterness
- Fear
- Ungodly influences

The answer is not simply to become afraid of these things.

Matthew 15:13 — The Foundation Scripture
Jesus said:
“Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.”
This verse is the foundation of this study.
Notice that Jesus said “which my heavenly Father hath not planted.”
This means that the central question is not merely:
“What do I want removed?”
The deeper question is:
“What has God planted?”
God wants His people to be established in truth, righteousness, faith, love, holiness, wisdom, and His Word.

1. Identify What Is Producing Bad Fruit
Jesus taught that a tree is known by its fruit.

Repentance is essential.
Acts 3:19

If a destructive pattern is connected to personal sin, the answer is not merely prayer against it.
There must also be repentance.

3. Renew Your Mind With God's Word
Some destructive patterns are strengthened by wrong thinking.
Romans 12:2

Jesus taught that an empty house can become vulnerable to something worse.
