50 POWERFUL PRAYERS AGAINST DESTINY KILLERS WITH BIBLE VERSES.
50 POWERFUL PRAYERS AGAINST DESTINY KILLERS WITH BIBLE VERSES
Key Scriptures
“The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.” — Psalm 138:8
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” — John 10:10
Introduction
God created every person with purpose.
Your life is not an accident, and your future is not without meaning. Scripture teaches that God has purposes and good works prepared for His people.
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” — Ephesians 2:10
In spiritual-warfare language, destiny killers refers to powers, influences, circumstances, destructive patterns and opposition that seek to prevent a person from fulfilling God's purpose.
These attacks may appear through persistent stagnation, repeated failure, destructive relationships, wrong decisions, discouragement, wasted opportunities, ungodly influence, spiritual opposition or other circumstances that continually pull a person away from God's purpose.
The Bible gives us examples of people whose God-given purposes faced serious opposition.
Joseph was attacked by his brothers but eventually reached the position God had prepared for him.
Moses was targeted by Pharaoh, yet God's purpose for his life survived.
David faced repeated attempts on his life before becoming king.
Esther was positioned by God for a purpose that affected an entire nation.
Jesus Himself faced Herod's attempt to destroy Him as a child, yet God's redemptive purpose was fulfilled.
The lesson is clear:
Opposition does not have the final word over a life surrendered to God.
These prayers are designed to help you pray aggressively for the preservation, restoration and fulfillment of your God-given purpose.
WHAT ARE DESTINY KILLERS?
The phrase “destiny killers” is not a specific biblical technical term. It is commonly used in Christian deliverance and spiritual-warfare teaching to describe anything that persistently works against the fulfillment of God's purpose.
This can include:
- Spiritual opposition
- Destructive habits
- Wrong relationships
- Persistent discouragement
- Fear and unbelief
- Repeated destructive decisions
- Ungodly influences
- Evil covenants
- Witchcraft and occult opposition
- Household or family patterns
- Stagnation and persistent delay
- Wasted opportunities
- Manipulation and deception
- Attacks against legitimate work and progress
- Anything that continually pulls a person away from God's purpose
Not every setback means that a supernatural enemy is responsible.
Sometimes the answer may involve repentance, better decisions, education, counselling, financial planning, medical care, improved relationships, discipline or other practical action.
Therefore, pray spiritually and act wisely.
BIBLICAL EXAMPLES OF DESTINY PRESERVATION
1. Joseph
Joseph's brothers sold him into slavery, but God ultimately raised him into a position of great responsibility.
Genesis 50:20
“But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good.”
2. Moses
Pharaoh ordered Hebrew male children to be killed, but God preserved Moses.
Exodus 2
God's purpose survived an attempt to destroy him at birth.
3. David
Saul repeatedly attempted to kill David, yet David eventually became king according to God's purpose.
1 Samuel 23–24
4. Esther
Esther was positioned by God at a critical moment to help preserve her people.
Esther 4:14
“Who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
5. Jesus Christ
Herod attempted to destroy Jesus as a child, but God's purpose could not be stopped.
Matthew 2:13–15
These examples show that God's purpose can survive intense opposition.
WHAT CAN ATTACK A PERSON'S DESTINY?
Bring these areas before God:
Wrong Relationships
Some relationships can encourage wisdom and purpose, while others can repeatedly pull a person toward destructive choices.
Fear
Fear can prevent people from taking legitimate steps toward their calling.
Discouragement
Persistent discouragement can cause people to abandon good work too early.
Sin and Disobedience
Sin can create consequences that interfere with a person's progress and fellowship with God.
Destructive Habits
Addictions, laziness, uncontrolled anger, procrastination and other destructive habits can waste opportunities.
Spiritual Opposition
Believers can pray against spiritual opposition while remaining grounded in God's Word.
Stagnation and Delay
Persistent stagnation can become an area requiring both prayer and practical action.
Deception
Wrong information and ungodly counsel can divert people from wise decisions.
