50 Prayer Points for Unity and Protection of the Church (With Bible Verses)
50 Prayer Points for Unity and Protection of the Church (With Bible Verses)
Key Scripture
"Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
Ephesians 4:3 (KJV)
Introduction
The Church of Jesus Christ is God's family on earth. It is called to glorify God, proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, and demonstrate Christ's love to the world. For the Church to fulfill this divine mission effectively, believers must walk together in unity while continually depending upon God's protection.
Throughout history, the enemy has constantly sought to weaken the Church through division, offense, false doctrine, persecution, compromise, discouragement, and spiritual attacks. Jesus warned that a kingdom divided against itself cannot stand, yet He also prayed that His followers would remain united just as He and the Father are one.
Unity does not mean uniformity. Rather, it means believers working together in love, humility, forgiveness, truth, and submission to God's Word despite differences in personalities, backgrounds, and spiritual gifts.
God also promises His protection over His Church. Jesus declared that the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. No matter the opposition, persecution, or spiritual warfare, Christ remains the Head of His Church and faithfully preserves His people.
These prayer points are designed to help believers intercede for their local churches, pastors, leaders, families, and the global Body of Christ so that unity, peace, holiness, truth, revival, and divine protection may continually abound.
